Its beginning was so humble – a simple but stern dream of Ato Abera Tilahun, a young entrepreneur, who cherished to bring positive transformations in the society. To him nothing could bring empowerment and enlightenment for a society than right education at right time. He was firmly inclined to the idea that education is a service that should be provided to the society without any profit motto. Education cannot be a business, but an altruistic service for the betterment of impoverished sections. Two decades of its service saw many ebbs and flows, trials and tribulations. In front of his committed, composed and determined mind, each challenge was slowly turning into triumphs. In due course a company was registered as Ethio-Limat Consultancy PLC. The company provided a strong shelter for the Micro Business College to grow and spread its educational service to most deserving rural populations of the country. Now the College is expanded into three efficient branches at Woleso, Gedo and Ambo. Time tested credentials of the college are well approved by the student community as well as the labour market. If the college shines as a major landmark at these towns, its achievements prove to be milestones in the educational annals of the country. Simultaneously, under the enthusiastic leadership of Ato Abera Tilahun, the Ethio-Limat PLC is providing necessary support and strength for the chain of educational institutions. The company has already signed agreements with relevant authorities for projects that aim holistic welfare of poor farmers, their environments and the flow of social development. The 100 million birr worth project it has launched with the West Shoa Zone Administration is one such major endeavour for providing infrastructural development for the impoverished communities with wholesome consideration of environment and development. |
